The way people look at the world determines how stressful situations will be interpreted and handled. A balanced person has a clear picture of where he stands and where he wants to go. However, if what you want is too far away from who you are, it creates a negative tension that leads to stress.
A realistic assessment of your possibilities, qualities or situation leads to actions that produce intended consequences. This reduces stress. Knowing what you want allows you to focus. This saves energy. Moreover, it reduces stress, and gives you more autonomy.
In our workshop Self Image & Stress, we work on the mental aspects of stress by exploring your qualities and the way you look at the world. We work on having both a personal vision and a clear picture of reality. This will generate an inner force, a creative tension. If your work is not in line with your qualities this will eventually lead to physical and mental discomfort. In our workshops you discover that cooperating with others that have qualities that you don’t have leads to more success and less stress. Play your strength is our advice.
In this interactive workshop, both theory and everyday situations are discussed:
- What is stress
- How to recognise symptoms of stress within yourself and others
- How to cope with stressful situations
- How to change your frame of mind
The Workshop Self Image & Stress can be given in-company or on location. At the end of the workshop, participants are stimulated to continue to work on achieving the goals that they set for themselves.
